Conduct clinical assessments and document patient progress accurately in accordance with clinical documentation standards. Operate medical equipment safely and effectively during therapy sessions, maintaining proper care and calibration. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Maintain meticulous medical documentation and ensure compliance with electronic health records (EHR) management protocols. Support discharge planning by preparing detailed reports on patient progress and recommendations for ongoing care or referrals. Requirements Valid certification or licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in accordance with state regulations. Proven experience in inpatient settings, skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, or home health environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and related medical terminology. Demonstrated skill in physical therapy treatment implementation such as manual therapy and physiotherapy techniques. Familiarity with clinical assessment documentation standards and medical documentation practices. Ability to operate medical equipment safely and manage electronic health records efficiently. Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with clients, caregivers, and healthcare team members.
