Job Description
The Medical Front Desk Receptionist/Chiropractic Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This position involves interacting with patients in a professional manner, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a patient-focused attitude, contributing to a positive experience for all patients and co-workers alike.
- Job Duties
- Welcome patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures.
- Confirm and schedule patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of time slots.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as necessary.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing calls to appropriate staff members.
- Process patient intake forms and verify insurance information.
- Accurately mail out communication and forms to the insurance companies.
- Communicate with attorneys and paralegals and collect case information accurately.
- Assist with billing inquiries and coordinate with insurance companies as needed.
- Ensure the reception area is organized, welcoming, and compliant with health regulations.
- Assist with administering therapy and other administrative duties as required.

- Skills
- Have a "patients come first" attitude
- At least two years of chiropractic or medical front office experience is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to interact effectively with patients and all healthcare professionals.
- Has the ability to use electronic medical record (EMR) systems, other office software, excel spreadsheets, and appropriately process paper documents.
- The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple tasks efficiently and maintaining focus.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and professionally.
- Spanish-speaking is not required but is beneficial.
