We are seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our expanding team! Position Summary The Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will provide direct physical therapy treatment to children under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. This position is ideal for a motivated clinician who enjoys working with children in a fun, engaging outpatient environment. Responsibilities Provide individualized physical therapy treatment to pediatric patients according to the established plan of care. Implement therapeutic exercises, functional activities, gait training, balance training, strengthening, and developmental interventions. Accurately document treatment sessions in a timely manner. Communicate effectively with the supervising PT regarding patient progress and any changes in status. Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs and carryover activities. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment. Adhere to all HIPAA, state, and clinic regulations. Qualifications Current Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Pediatric experience preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with the supervising Physical Therapist.
