Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Certified Chiropractic Assistant to join our growing healthcare team as we prepare to open a brand-new location projected to launch in early fall 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to play an integral role in helping establish and grow a new clinic from the ground up. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between patients and practitioners, ensuring smooth clinic operations while delivering exceptional patient care. We are looking for a motivated team player who is flexible, proactive, and excited about the unique responsibilities that come with opening a new office. Many of the job duties will involve assisting with the setup, organization, and day-to-day operations necessary to successfully launch the new location. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and assist with patient intake processes to ensure accurate documentation. Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature to support clinical assessments. Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and assist chiropractors during adjustments and therapies. Manage electronic health records (EHR systems), ensuring all patient information is accurately documented and maintained in compliance with privacy regulations. Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries, and managing medical records. Assist with office-opening initiatives, including organizing treatment areas, implementing operational procedures, and helping establish workflows for the new location. Collaborate closely with leadership and the healthcare team to support the successful launch and ongoing growth of the clinic. Assist with basic procedures such as phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support when necessary. Adapt to evolving responsibilities and contribute wherever needed during the opening and expansion phases. Requirements Valid certification as a Chiropractic Assistant with active licensure or registration. Prior experience in a medical office setting, preferably within chiropractic or outpatient clinics. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and pharmacology. Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR systems) and medical documentation standards. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally. Basic life support (BLS) certification is required; additional certifications such as phlebotomy or medication administration are a plus. Experience working in hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient environments is highly desirable. Must be highly organized, adaptable, and excited to take on the unique challenges and opportunities associated with opening a new clinic location.
