Full Job Description Requirements:
- Preferred SPORTS, ATC, or
EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY, EXERCISE SCIENCE
background.- Must have Sports Background.
- Must have valid Physical Therapy Assistant license/certificate in the state in which applying for work.
- Must have graduated from an accredited physical therapy assistant program
- Current CPR certification
- Exceptional patient therapy skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence
- Team oriented

Experience or certified in: ART, Graston Technique, Kinesiology Taping (RockTape Preferred) or FMS™ (If you currently have none, Physical Therapy Now™ will help provide certification at PTA's own cost at PTN special pricing through education partners)Job Description:
Physical Therapy Assistant is expected to perform the following duties.- Preparing for each patient's therapy
- Assisting in the transportation of patients when moving to or from a treatment area
- Ordering depleted supplies
- Answering the phone
- Filling out insurance forms and other paperwork
- Reading patient evaluations
- Being very familiar with the Plan of Care the physical therapist set in place for any given patient and, if need be, relaying any concerns about the Plan of Care
- Administering balance and muscle strength tests
- Administer manual exercises, massage or traction to help relieve pain, increase patient strength, decrease or prevent deformity.
- Record prognosis, treatment, response and progress in patient's chart or computer database.
- Stay up to date on continuing education and attend continuing education courses or seminars provided by our partners. (RockTape etc.)
- Help implement and or execute the marketing plan.
Marketing:
- Each employee must do their part in marketing their center.
- Examples of Marketing include
- Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, SnapChat, Etc) o Adding Place of employment on SM profiles.
- Asking for referrals for current patients
- Asking for Google/Website reviews from every happy patient
- Making sure everyone in your immediate network of family or friends knows where you work
- Asking for a referral from personally known referral source such as Doctors, Attorneys, Gyms, Crossfit, Employers, Etc.
- Send Thank you notes to patients ▪ Be a team player, help other team members when help is needed.
