Working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the PTA will provide skilled physical therapy treatments to patients in their homes, helping them improve mobility, restore function, manage pain, and maintain independence. Responsibilities Provide skilled physical therapy treatments in accordance with the Physical Therapist's established plan of care. Assist patients in improving strength, balance, mobility, endurance, coordination, and functional independence. Instruct patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, home exercise programs, and safe mobility techniques. Observe, document, and report patient progress and changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation. Reinforce patient and caregiver education regarding safety, fall prevention, and proper use of assistive devices. Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, case managers, and the interdisciplinary care team. Participate in case conferences as requested. Follow Medicare guidelines, state regulations, agency policies, and HIPAA requirements. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. Current, unrestricted Florida PTA license. Current CPR/BLS Certification. Home health experience preferred but not required. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule. Valid Florida driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance. Why Join Our Team?
