About Us:
Growing Kids Pediatric Therapy is a compassionate, child-centered therapy clinic dedicated to helping children reach their fullest potential. We provide high-quality, individualized care in a fun and supportive environment for children and their families. We provide Speech, Occupational and Speech Therapy.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities:
Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to pediatric patients Monitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist Educate caregivers on home exercise programs and carryover strategies Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinic and regulatory standards Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Create a positive, engaging, and safe therapy environment for children
Qualifications:
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Medicaid Provider Registration
REQUIRED
Ability to commute to clients for home health visits in Hialeah, Miami Lakes, Kendall, Cutler Bay, Homestead Current Florida PTA license (or eligibility) Pediatric experience preferred, but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to engage and motivate children of varying ages and abilities Team-oriented mindset with a compassionate approach to care
Pay:
$43.00 - $50.00 per hour
