You will have the opportunity to choose from various assignments, such as long-term care or assisting with recovery from an injury or illness. FLC works with you to build your work schedule around your needs. Physical Therapist Assistants at FLC perform many duties in our patient's homes such as, Performing medical care in the home as assigned by an Physical Therapist. Helping the patients remain at home in a safe, comfortable and healthy environment by performing tasks such as administration of medication, feeding, and other care as needed per patient's plan of care. Communicate any changes affecting the patient's medical condition and needs with other team members and family members. Keeping records of all tasks performed and the patient's overall health and behavioral status.
