Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals seeking physical therapy services.Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating and assessing patients' conditions
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans under the guidance of the Physical Therapist
- Provide hands-on therapy to patients, including exercises, stretches, and manual therapy techniques
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for at-home exercises and self-care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred
- Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with various treatment techniques such as trigger point therapy and acute care interventions
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital or clinical setting
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
