Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Chiropractic Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the chiropractic practice by providing exceptional patient service, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This position requires a blend of clinical knowledge and administrative skills to enhance patient care and streamline office processes. Duties Assist chiropractors in patient care, including preparing treatment rooms and assisting with patient examinations. Manage patient scheduling, ensuring timely appointments and effective use of clinic resources. Handle medical records management, including documentation review and maintaining HIPAA compliance. Perform medical billing and coding tasks, utilizing EHR systems. Conduct insurance verification and manage medical collections to ensure accurate billing practices. Provide clerical support at the front desk, including answering multi-line phone systems and addressing patient inquiries with professionalism. Maintain organized filing systems for patient records and care plans. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement effective care plans for patients. Demonstrate strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and typing accuracy for documentation purposes. Skills Bilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing communication with diverse patient populations. Previous clinic or medical office experience is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in clerical duties such as filing, typing (including 10 key typing), and managing office management tasks.
