Job Description
Job Overview We are looking for a full-time, reliable, dedicated and organized Receptionist/Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. As a team member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Chiropractic/Medical office. Your primary responsibilities will include office management, patient scheduling, marketing, and providing exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Manage the front desk and greet patients with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Perform therapeutic modalities on patients as needed
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the office calendar
- Answer phone calls and assist with patient inquiries
- Scan, file, and maintain patient records in an organized manner
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure timely check-in and check-out
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits and maintain inventory of office supplies
- Drop off marketing material at attorney/doctor offices
- Assist other staff in weekly cleaning of the office and maintain tidiness
- Assist the Office Manager with various administrative tasks such as records requests, document scanning, and billing preparation
Qualifications:
- Fluent in Spanish preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proficient in using office software programs (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling multiple phone lines is a plus Work Hours are: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday from 8AM to 4PM (with a 30-min lunch) Tuesday & Thursday from 8AM to 5:30PM (or last patient, with an hour lunch) If you are looking for an opportunity to contribute to a positive healthcare environment and support patients on their wellness journey, we would love to hear from you.
