We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our interdisciplinary team. As a PTA at Gulfport Nursing Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Responsibilities:
Assist physical therapists in the treatment of patients with a wide range of conditions, including neurological, musculoskeletal, and cardiopulmonary disorders Implement treatment plans as directed by physical therapists, including therapeutic exercises, modalities, and other interventions Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to physical therapists Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
Completed associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program Current Florida licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant Experience as a PTA (new graduates welcome!)
