Responsibilities Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and executing individualized treatment plans for patients with orthopedic, geriatric, neurological, or post-surgical needs Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to promote mobility, strength, and functional independence Operate medical equipment such as ultrasound machines, electrical stimulation devices, and orthotics interventions in occupational therapy Support hand therapy occupational practices by providing specialized interventions for hand and upper extremity rehabilitation Monitor patient progress and document responses to treatments accurately in medical records Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility techniques, and injury prevention strategies Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and dance therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care Skills Practicing in a physical therapy role with hands-on experience in inpatient, outpatient, or sub-acute care environments Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to rehabilitation practices Experience operating medical equipment used in physical therapy treatments Familiarity with orthopedics, geriatrics, hospital medicine, and post-acute care protocols Skilled in orthotics interventions within occupational therapy settings Knowledge of dance therapy techniques as part of holistic rehabilitation approaches Ability to work effectively across diverse settings such as clinics or hospital units with a focus on patient-centered care Join us to be part of a passionate team dedicated to restoring movement and improving lives through innovative physical therapy practices.
