Operate medical equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and healthcare regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals—including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists—to ensure cohesive patient care. Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers to explain treatment procedures, address concerns, and motivate ongoing participation. Maintain meticulous medical documentation within electronic health records (EHR) systems in compliance with clinical standards. Requirements Valid certification or license as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in accordance with state or national regulations. Proven experience working in outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, skilled nursing facilities, or home health environments. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practice. Hands-on experience with manual therapy techniques including trigger point therapy and other physiotherapy modalities. Familiarity with clinical assessment documentation standards and medical documentation practices. Ability to operate medical equipment safely and manage electronic health records (EHR) efficiently. Excellent communication skills for effective caregiver and client interactions; compassionate approach to patient care. Prior experience working with diverse populations such as geriatrics or pediatrics is preferred.
