Full-time or Part-time Physical Therapist Assistant First Step Therapy is currently seeking a PTA to join our growing multidisciplinary team in our Leesburg Clinic treating clients with a variety of diagnoses ranging from age 0-21 years old. W2 and 1099 positions available Flexible schedule and great benefits! Paid training and mentorship provided for new therapists.

Job Summary:

Physical therapist assistants (PTAs) collaborate with physical therapists to develop and carry out a treatment plan for each patient. Physical therapist assistants work with patients that have developmental delays, teaching them functional skills to improve independence. Assistants monitor and document progress throughout the treatment period.

Job Requirements:

Associate of Applied Science Degree Valid Florida PTA License Level II fingerprinting background

Driver's License Professional Liability Insurance Qualifications:

Ability to physically assist patients in performing functional tasks and therapeutic exercises 1 year pediatric experience (preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills

Essential Functions:
