We wish to hire a health-minded, outgoing and organized person for the Medical/Chiropractic Assistant position at our growing office, located in Athens, Ga. This position is fulltime. The right person for the job should be energetic, detail oriented, self-motivated and work well with a team. Must be able to multitask and think on your feet. This is a standing job. JOB DESCRIPTION
This critical role will entail working with our doctors and team to ensure we have an efficiently running practice. Duties include, but are not limited to, the organization and utilization of common office programs, data entry, answering phones, scheduling, implementing various therapies, learning to take x-rays. Candidates must have excellent time management skills, the ability to multitask and be able to perform expected tasks without supervision. Prior work experience in this field is a MUST. You must have a strong understanding of natural healthcare, have a very outgoing personality, and be extremely organized and dependable. Your excitement about healthcare will be a key attribute when motivating the patients to achieve goals they never thought possible.
SALARY :
Starting rate is $15 per hour with a reevaluation in 30 days. Potential base rate increase based upon job performance.
COMPETENCIES
Experience within the field of Medical/Chiropractic, wellness or alternative medicine is preferred (even having been a patient) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Eclipse practice software are a plus. The ability to write excellent SOAP notes and medical narratives are also a strong plus Extreme attention to detail Ability to "think big" and contribute to team ideas for overall growth and success Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully Personal appearance is professional and smart
•Candidate must have good credit and be able to pass a background check.
WORKING HOURS

Experience:
Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a medical/chiropractic assistant.
