Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist, where your energetic and detail-oriented approach will help create a welcoming environment for patients and support the smooth operation of our clinic. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine front desk responsibilities with clinical support, ensuring patients receive exceptional care from the moment they walk through our doors. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will be vital in managing patient interactions, administrative tasks, and clinical documentation with precision and professionalism. Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and efficient check-in process Manage appointment scheduling using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems Verify patient insurance coverage, process payments, and handle medical collections accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations Maintain and update patient records, including documentation review and coding using CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-10 codes for accurate billing and care plans Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and providing excellent patient service Assist clinicians with clinical support tasks such as documenting, taking blood pressure, assist with physical therapy Handle administrative duties including filing, data entry (10 key typing), medical records management, and maintaining clinic organization Qualifications High school diploma Excellent computer skills Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in bilingual settings preferred Previous experience with medical scheduling, front desk operations, and clerical support is desirable Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a thriving healthcare practice while developing their clinical administrative skills.
