Contract Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 7:00pm and Saturdays, 7:00am to 1:00pm Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join a growing and dynamic team! Guide patients through stretches, strength training, and functional movements. Use tools like TENS units (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation), ultrasound machines, and assistive devices like walkers. Assist patients with relearning how to stand, walk, and keep their balance. Maintain clean spaces, sanitize gear, and use proper infection control. Record daily progress and treatment results accurately for the main physical therapist.

Position Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited two-year associate degree program for physical therapist assistants. Active state license or certification to practice as a PTA. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification. Strong communication and empathy to motivate patients through challenging recoveries.
