King's Music Academy is a faith-based music school located at 99-1324 Koaha Pl. ʻAiea, HI 96701. We have been open since April 2024 and seek to provide a vibrant and supportive environment for both students and teachers to thrive. We are currently hiring music teachers who are proficient in their instrument and passionate about teaching. Ideal candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills to effectively connect with students. Requirements:

• Proficiency in piano , voice, guitar, bass guitar, and/or drums.
• Ability to work well with children/adults and create engaging lesson plans.
• Positive attitude and a passion for music education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Genuinely care about the growth and success of others.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
• Classroom management skills to maintain discipline and focus during lessons
• Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching music Gigging or professional experience, teaching experience, and/or formal musical education background is preferred but NOT required to apply.

Being able to teach various styles of music is also a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging music lessons tailored to the needs and skill levels of individual students
• Teach students various musical concepts, including music theory, sight-reading, and proper technique
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate growth
• Collaborate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment conducive to musical exploration

Schedule:
