Our state-of-the-art services, amenities, and excellent staff make Kahl Home a premier nursing facility in the Quad Cities. We are seeking to hire a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • PTA. Physical Therapy Assistant
  • PTA Qualifications:
    Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy from an approved technical program. Licensed and in good standing by the State of Iowa and current registration (Should be a member of the American Physical Therapy Association). One year of experience in Long Term Care is preferred. PTA Job Summary:
Implements physical therapy resident care program as directed by the Physical Therapist. Follows established procedures in the application and use of heat, cold, light, water, sound and massage.
Utilizes special equipment:
braces, prostheses, bandages, etc. Observes and reports the resident's responses to the Physical Therapist. Completes required documentation. Maintains equipment and functional aids for cleanliness and good working order. Assists in maintaining inventory of supplies.
