Physical Therapist Assistant, PRN
Job Description
As a Physical Therapist Assistant you function under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You adhere to applicable principles and practices of Physical Therapy. Assists in selecting Physical Therapy techniques and in the sequence of activities, adapts techniques to the treatment plan . Assists in establishing and modifying individual patient schedules in conjunction with the Physical Therapist and other team members. Assists the Physical Therapist in identifying the problem list, long and short-term goals, and a treatment plan. Coordinates treatment plan with patients, family, and other team members. Monitor patients response to intervention and consult with the Physical Therapist if modification is indicated. Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program License to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant within the state Positive Attitude Ability to completed required in-service training requirements Must be able to move (walk, bend, stand, sit, push, pull, lift) intermittently throughout the workdayShift:
