Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and dependable healthcare professional to join our chiropractic and wellness clinic. We are open to candidates with experience as a Medical Assistant, Licensed Massage Therapist, or Physical Therapy Technician . The ideal candidate will enjoy working directly with patients and be comfortable supporting a variety of chiropractic, rehabilitation, physical therapy, and wellness services. This position is ideal for someone who is professional, hands-on, patient-focused, and interested in learning and working in a collaborative multidisciplinary healthcare environment. Patient Care & Clinical Support Welcome patients and prepare patients and treatment rooms for scheduled services. Assist chiropractors and clinical staff with patient care and treatment. Obtain and document patient information and vital signs when applicable and within the individual's scope of practice. Monitor patient comfort throughout treatment and communicate concerns to the provider. Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked treatment areas. Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, and clinic safety procedures. Chiropractic & Rehabilitation Support Assist with chiropractic treatments and physical therapy and rehabilitation services while ensuring smooth patient flow as directed by the chiropractor Obtain vital signs, prepare and assist providers with examinations and procedures, and documenting in patient's charts Assist patients with prescribed therapeutic exercises and stretching. Assist with heat, ice, electrical stimulation, TENS, and other rehabilitation modalities as directed. Assist with patient education regarding exercises, home-care instructions, and treatment plans as directed by the provider. Provide therapeutic massage services (soft-tissue, lymphatic, and therapeutic massage) and document in patient's chart all therapies provided consistent with the patient's treatment plan and the therapist's scope of practice. Assist with referrals, authorizations, insurance verification, and other office duties as needed. Qualifications Candidates may have one or more of the following: Medical Assistant experience or certification. Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) or equivalent state-recognized credential. Physical Therapy Technician/Aide experience. Exercise science, kinesiology, rehabilitation, or healthcare background. High school diploma or equivalent required. CPR/BLS certification is preferred.
