Local & Travel Candidates Welcome Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join the therapy team at Ascension Living Resurrection Village Life Center in Chicago, IL. The PTA will provide quality physical therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy treatments and interventions as directed by the Physical Therapist. Assist patients with exercises, mobility, transfers, and therapeutic activities. Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment. Follow individualized treatment plans and facility guidelines. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with the therapy team and other healthcare professionals. Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care. Requirements Current and active Illinois Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license . PTA education from an accredited program. Previous PTA experience preferred. Strong communication and patient-care skills. Ability to work 5 days per week and meet the 32-hour weekly. Must be able to work effectively in a therapy/healthcare setting.

Contract & Overtime Contract Length:

13 weeks

Expected Hours:

32 hours/week

Daily Overtime:

After 24 hours, based on the applicable multiplier.

Weekly Overtime:

After 40 hours, based on the applicable multiplier. Both local and travel candidates are eligible.

The listed bill rate is intended for candidates who meet all preferred qualifications. Candidates with less experience or who do not fully meet the preferred criteria may be considered at a lower rate.
