Category Schools - PTA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners as a Physical Therapist Assistant working in a vibrant school setting near Cicero, IL. This contracted, part-time role gives you the chance to make a significant difference, delivering hands-on therapy to students in PreK through 3rd grade. Enjoy a balanced schedule of two to three days a week, giving you flexibility while working with a dedicated educational team. The assignment runs from ASAP through June 2027, providing stability as you grow your skills in a supportive environment.
Key Qualifications:
Associate's degree or higher in Physical Therapy Valid Illinois state license Experience or interest in working with early childhood and elementary-aged students Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit Passion for empowering students to achieve functional mobility and independencePrimary Responsibilities:
Implement prescribed physical therapy interventions for PreK-3rd grade students Collaborate with physical therapists, educators, and family members to support individualized education plans (IEPs) Monitor student progress, adapt activities, and document outcomes Contribute to team meetings and student evaluations Foster a positive, encouraging environment that supports every child's growthPerks and Benefits:
