Manage phone communication with professionalism, providing clear information about appointments, insurance questions, or clinic procedures while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Assist clinicians with clinical support tasks including documentation review, medical terminology clarification, and preparing treatment or care plans. Maintain organized medical records and electronic health records (EHR) management to ensure quick access and data integrity. Support office administrative functions such as typing reports, managing office supplies, and performing 10-key typing tasks efficiently. Requirements Proven clinic experience or medical office experience with strong knowledge of medical administrative support functions. Solid understanding of health insurance processes including Medicare billing, medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), and medical billing procedures. Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data entry accuracy. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle phone communication professionally and courteously. Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse patient populations. Knowledge of clinical confidentiality policies and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA is essential.
