Position Summary The Physical Therapist Assistant the PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed PT to implement treatment plans, assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals, and ensure a high standard of care in a collaborative environment.

Elgin, Illinois Status:
Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)
Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday, Days and Evenings (No Weekends)
Expected Starting Pay:
$28.50 - $35.00/Hour (minimum to mid-point, based on experience) Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to problem solve through a well-defined approach. Ability to instruct and collaborate with others. Strong team orientation. Ability to accomplish multiple tasks and prioritize activities. Essential Job Functions Implements treatment programs designed by a physical therapist to ensure quality patient care Maintains complete and accurate records pertinent to patient treatment to assure proper documentation and to be in regulatory compliance Maintains professional skills/competencies to effectively and progressively meet the demands of the position Provide clinical instruction to students when assigned Incumbent is expected to comply with safety policies and procedures, regulatory requirements such as OSHA and to participate in corporate-wide and department safety activities Comply with safety activities, policies and procedures and regulatory requirements such as OSHA. Participate in performance improvement activities. Attend and participate in department meetings. Attend mandatory educational programs. Follow established guidelines as stated in departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for all other duties as assigned. Must be able to pass background check. We also conduct pre-employment TB and drug testing. Any job offer will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment TB and drug screen, background check, and obtaining active licensures per job requirements.
