Serenity Estates of Freeport is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. We are also seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant interested in stepping into a Director of Rehab leadership role. Physical Therapist Assistant - Full-Time As a PTA, you will work closely with our therapy team to provide quality rehabilitation services designed to help residents improve their strength, mobility, independence, and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities include:

Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Implement individualized treatment plans and therapeutic exercises. Assist residents with improving strength, balance, mobility, and functional abilities. Monitor and document patient progress. Communicate effectively with residents, families, nursing staff, and the therapy team. Maintain a positive, compassionate, and professional environment. Director of Rehab Opportunity For an experienced PTA ready to take on additional responsibility, the Director of Rehab role provides an opportunity to help lead and coordinate rehabilitation services within the facility.

Director responsibilities may include:

Overseeing day-to-day therapy department operations. Supporting and coordinating the therapy team. Ensuring quality patient care and regulatory compliance. Collaborating with nursing, administration, and other interdisciplinary team members. Monitoring patient outcomes and department performance. Helping create a positive and collaborative therapy environment. What We're Looking For Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of Illinois. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and patient-centered approach. Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team. Reliable, organized, and professional. Previous leadership or rehabilitation management experience is a plus for the Director of Rehab position.
