No Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week travel contract in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. The PTA will provide patient care under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist and assist with implementing individualized treatment plans designed to improve patients' mobility, strength, function, and quality of life. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Assist with implementing individualized treatment plans. Perform therapeutic exercises and functional activities as directed. Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Educate patients on exercises, mobility techniques, and treatment plans. Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-centered environment. Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other members of the healthcare team. Requirements Active Illinois Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required. Prior travel experience required . Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting preferred. Must be available for 40 hours per week . Must be available for day shifts. Must have a verifiable permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel assignment. Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
