Seeking a Compassionate, Skilled, Physical Therapist Assistant Join the team at ClarkLindsey! The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) helps people regain movement, manage pain, and improve functional mobility. PTAs provide direct care, including implementing treatment plans, teaching exercises, and using techniques like massage or therapeutic equipment to assist patients in reaching optimal wellness.
What You'll Do:
The PTA provides physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help residents improve mobility, strength, endurance, and functional independence. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Carry out treatment programs as established by the supervising PT. Assist with gait training, balance exercises, therapeutic activities, and functional mobility tasks. Document resident care and communicate progress or concerns to the PT. Ensure safe and proper use of therapy equipment. Participate in interdisciplinary coordination and restorative programs.
What You Bring:
Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program. Illinois PTA license. CPR certification. Geriatric experience preferred. Why ClarkLindsey? We're more than a workplace—we're a community . Compensation and Benefits:
The pay for this PRN position is $38.00 per hour. Bonuses equaling up to 2% of salary annually are available based on performance, generally in the spring and fall each year.
