Qualifications & Experience:

Active IL Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required School-based experience preferred but not mandatory Experience working with pediatric populations or within K-12 schools is beneficial Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, educators, and families Flexibility and adaptability to address the diverse needs of students

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver physical therapy services as outlined in students individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments to determine students needs and progress Develop and implement therapeutic interventions to support each students goals Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of services provided Collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists to foster student success and independence Assist with transition planning and provide insights during IEP meetings as needed
