Full Job Description Role Overview:
The Physical Therapist Assistant provides treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education to enhance patient well-being, following a prescribed plan of care under supervision. Key responsibilities include performing qualified procedures, instructing patients in exercises and functional activities, observing and reporting patient responses, and coordinating care with healthcare team members. The role requires adaptability to various home environments and a commitment to patient safety and comfort.
Qualifications & Skills:
Current licensure, registration, or certification to practice physical therapy in the state Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, or access to transportation Availability for weekend rotations
Preferred:
CPR certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days), physical ability for patient mobility tasks
