ATTENTION
This is not an entry-level healthcare position. Applicants must be licensed Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) who have graduated from an accredited PTA program. Overview:
Due to growth, Chesterton Physical Therapy is now hiring a full-time or part-time Physical Therapist Assistant for an Outpatient Orthopedics position in Chesterton, IN. Candidates of all experience levels will be considered. The clinic is a PT-owned private practice that proudly serves the local community with clinic locations in Chesterton, Michigan City, Portage, and Valparaiso. Caseload /
Patient Population:
The expected caseload for full-time Physical Therapist Assistants at Chesterton Physical Therapy is to manage 60 patient visits per week. Caseload is primarily general orthopedics and some chronic pain. PTAs utilize a combination of manual therapy and exercise therapy. Candidates with an interest in Pelvic Floor are preferred.
Work Schedule:
The clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 9am until 6pm and Friday from 9am until 5pm. No weekends. No holidays. Enjoy excellent work / life balance within this position. The actual work schedule is flexible depending on clinic needs, staff availability, and the preference of the candidate hired. Candidates with a minimum of 20 hours per week of availability over 3 days a week will be considered.
Salary & Benefits:
The compensation for this role is in the range of $28 to $35 per hour based on experience. Full-time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package.
Job Requirements:
Eligible for Indiana state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Full-time or Part-time availability is required. Prior experience is not required. New Grads are welcome. Candidates who require sponsorship of a work visa will be considered.
