Setting:

Skilled Nursing / Rehabilitation We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a skilled nursing and rehabilitation team on the north side of Indianapolis. This is a great opportunity for a PTA who enjoys working with the geriatric and post-acute population while helping patients improve mobility, strength, safety, and independence.

Responsibilities:

Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist Carry out established plans of care Assist with gait, transfer, balance, strengthening, endurance, and mobility training Educate patients and caregivers on safety and therapeutic exercises Monitor patient response and communicate changes to the supervising PT Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team Complete accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited PTA program Active Indiana PTA license or ability to obtain SNF, LTC, rehabilitation, or geriatric experience preferred New graduates are encouraged to apply Why Apply? $37
