Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to assist our team of physical therapists in providing high-quality rehabilitative care to patients. The PTA will work closely with patients to help them regain movement and manage pain through exercise, therapeutic techniques, and physical aids.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients Instruct and supervise patients in therapeutic exercises and activities Document patient progress and communicate effectively with therapists and other healthcare professionals Perform modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy under the guidance of a licensed therapist Assist with patient transfers and positioning during therapy sessions Maintain a clean and organized therapy area Participate in team meetings and continuing education opportunities to stay current on best practices in physical therapy

Qualifications and Skills:
