Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Part-Time or Full-Time Moving Forward Physical Therapy | Bedford, MA Moving Forward Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated, experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing team in Bedford, MA. Founded in 2010, Moving Forward Physical Therapy is a privately owned outpatient clinic specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation, post-operative care, sports medicine, injury recovery, and return-to-activity programs. We take pride in providing highly skilled, personalized care for our patients. Moving Forward Physical Therapy is located inside Club 600/CrossFit 600, a 13,000 sq ft health and fitness facility offering Personal Training, CrossFit, Group Fitness, Nutrition Coaching, and Physical Therapy. Our clinic has access to the entire fitness facility and its equipment, allowing our clinicians to take rehabilitation beyond the treatment table. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with physical therapists, personal trainers, CrossFit coaches, fitness instructors, and other health and fitness professionals under one roof. We are looking for a PTA who is passionate about orthopedic rehabilitation and enjoys working with an active patient population.
The ideal candidate is:
Experienced or strongly interested in orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, and post-operative care Skilled in appropriate hands-on/manual techniques within the PTA scope of practice Professional, dependable, personable, and motivated Comfortable collaborating closely with supervising physical therapists and our fitness team Interested in helping patients transition from rehabilitation back to independent exercise, strength training, and an active lifestyle Excited to work in a positive, energetic, multidisciplinary environment Responsibilities include providing treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, carrying out individualized plans of care, therapeutic exercise and functional training, documenting patient progress, educating patients, and communicating closely with the supervising PT regarding progress and changes in patient status. For the right candidate, there may be opportunities to expand your role within Club 600 through personal training, fitness coaching, or other wellness services, depending on your interests, qualifications, certifications, and availability.
