What You Bring:

Active state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant is required Experience with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings, is highly valued Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and educational staff Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet the diverse needs of students in various age groups Willingness to work onsite in a full-time capacity and maintain flexibility in a dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct therapeutic interventions tailored to students' individual education plans (IEPs) Support and guide students in developing motor skills, mobility, and physical independence in the classroom Collaborate with supervising physical therapists, teachers, and other school professionals to ensure holistic care Document student progress consistently in accordance with school and state guidelines Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and professional development as needed
