This is an excellent opportunity for a Physical Therapist Assistant who is passionate about patient care, clinical excellence, and professional growth to join a collaborative, physician-integrated orthopedic practice. Position Overview You will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists, orthopedic physicians, physician assistants, and therapy colleagues in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Guide patients through prescribed therapeutic exercises and functional activities to improve mobility, strength, endurance, and overall function. Apply appropriate modalities and manual techniques to support recovery and pain management. Observe, measure, and document patient progress, and communicate updates and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and safe movement strategies. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory standards. Contribute to a positive, professional, and supportive clinic culture focused on high-quality, patient-centered care.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Valid Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility for licensure). Outpatient orthopedic or sports medicine experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary orthopedic setting.
