Your expertise will help students reach their fullest potential, working in collaboration with physical therapists and educational staff to deliver targeted interventions. A current Massachusetts PTA License is required, ensuring youre ready to meet the unique needs of school-aged children and adolescents.
Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License Prior experience working with children or in a school setting preferred Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with therapists, teachers, and families Flexible and compassionate approach tailored to diverse student needs
Role Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy services to students per individualized education plans (IEPs) Work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Assist with the implementation of therapeutic activities in classrooms, gymnasiums, or resource rooms Document progress and maintain detailed student records Communicate with families, teachers, and service providers to support each students goals
