Job Description

For more than forty years Agility Orthopedics has been a leading provider of outstanding orthopedic care. Our Orthopedic and physical therapy facilities are located in Stoneham and Malden, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate is a new graduate or experienced Physical Therapist Assistant that is passionate about delivering quality care and working within a multi-disciplinary Orthopedic setting.
Responsibilities:
  • Practices in a manner consistent with established legal and professional standards and ethical guidelines
  • Provides treatment sessions and carries out plan of care developed by evaluating Physical Therapist.
  • Performs interventions safely, effectively, efficiently, fluidly, and in a coordinated and technically competent manner.
  • Interventions include, but not limited to, electrotherapeutic modalities, functional training, manual therapy techniques, mechanical traction, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, vasopneumatic compression.
  • Alerts Physical Therapist when reassessment/re-evaluation is needed based on established timeframes, patient response to treatment, or change in status.
  • Documents all progress notes in a thoroughly and timely manner in the patient electronic medical record including subjective notes, objective measures, assessment findings, interventions and plan of care which support appropriate coding and billing.
  • Completes all billing processes within regulatory guidelines in timely, accurate, efficient manner.
  • Transporting patients to and from treatment areas, lifting and transferring them according to positioning requirements.
  • Performs general maintenance within the Physical Therapy Department.
