Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Woburn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center
FULLTIME

Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day treatment, including but not limited to training in bed mobility, transfers, gait, stairs, ambulation on various surfaces, therapeutic exercise programs for ROM, strengthening, stretching, re-education, balance, and coordination programs. Communicate with other disciplines as needed to enhance interdisciplinary team rapport and improve patient care. Participate in home visits, family conferences, and community awareness/marketing activities when appropriate. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in resident medical records. Supervise rehab and restorative aides regarding patient treatments, ROM, ambulation, and positioning of patients. Ensure treatment is provided as per the plan of treatment and complete all required documentation on time. Meet department standards for discharge charts, including FIMS, home treatment programs, and equipment recommendations following discharge.
Qualifications:
Current MA State License as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Graduate of an APTA-approved Physical Therapy Assistant Program. Must comply with state, federal, and APTA standards of practice when planning and carrying out treatment programs.
