As a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you'll touch lives and create stories, and the sense of fulfillment you'll receive will be immense. Join our team as a compassionate and dedicated PTA! You'll play a vital role in empowering our residents to achieve their highest level of function and independence. You'll work closely with Physical Therapists to develop personalized treatment plans, provide hands-on therapy, and educate patients on managing their conditions. In this role, you'll: Collaborate with Physical Therapists to implement treatment plans. Assist patients with exercises, functional activities, and therapeutic equipment. Monitor patient progress and report observations to the Physical Therapist. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and condition management. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring a safe and efficient environment. You'll be a perfect fit if you have: An Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy and a current state license. Strong clinical skills and experience working with a diverse patient population. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening and empathy. A passion for teamwork and collaboration. A meticulous and detail-oriented approach to documentation and equipment management. $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
