Job Summary:
We are seeking a flexible Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. As a PTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide direct rehab care to patients. You will be responsible for implementing treatment plans, providing patient education, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct rehab care to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) Implement treatment plans and provide patient education Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes Participate in community health matters/projects as appropriate Liaison with patients, families, and support departments to adequately plan for patient needs Demonstrate good body mechanics at all times
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy (ASPT) Currently registered/licensed in Maryland One (1) year experience in post-acute care or related setting preferred Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e-mail
Salary:
$38 - $40
