Physical Therapist Assistant
Pay Rate:
$28.00 / hour We have partnered with a physical therapy center in the Frederick, MD area to provide them with a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Please review the description below and let us know if you are interested. Responsibilities of the
Physical Therapist Assistant:
Responsible for assisting physical therapists in providing patient care, including helping patients with exercises, therapeutic activities, and other treatments. The Physical Therapist Assistant must be able to work independently and collaboratively with the physical therapy team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
- Ideal candidate will have experience in physical and rehabilitation medicine, as well as orthopedics.
- Assist physical therapists in providing physical therapy treatments to patients.
- Assist in the development of treatment plans for patients.
- Provide patient education on proper use of therapeutic exercises and equipment.
- Document patient progress and outcomes.
- Assist with orthopedic evaluations and assessments.
- Provide support to physical therapists in the implementation of treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
