The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to assist in the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with various physical conditions. This role is essential in helping patients regain mobility, improve their quality of life, and achieve their rehabilitation goals. Duties Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising physical therapist. Provide patient care through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation. Conduct assessments of patients' progress and report findings to the supervising therapist. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercises, and injury prevention strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, progress notes, and treatment outcomes. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to patient care. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physical therapy practices. Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, orthopedics, and balance issues. Ability to develop and implement effective care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
