$30.00

  • NovaCare in Owings Mills, MD, is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team.
This role is perfect for a licensed PTA with outpatient experience who values work-life balance. We'll pair our coverage needs with your availability to create a schedule that works for you. New graduates are welcome to apply. You must have your MD license to start. Our large team treats a diverse population and offers a variety of specialty services, including neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports, amputees, oncology (ReVital), pelvic health (CoreVia), FCEs, a Fall prevention and ACL program, and general orthopedics.

We have several outpatient locations throughout Baltimore and adjacent Carroll County open to steady part-time or as-needed/per diem coverage

      • Responsibilities
      • Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
      • Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
      • Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff. Qualifications
      • College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
      • Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
      • Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
