Job Overview Ideal Wellness is seeking a motivated, organized, and patient-focused DME & Functional Testing Specialist / Chiropractic Assistant to join our clinical team. This is a specialized clinical support position for someone who enjoys working directly with patients and takes pride in providing excellent care. The primary focus of this role will be Durable Medical Equipment (DME) fitting, patient instruction, range-of-motion and functional testing, and chiropractic clinical support. Responsibilities Perform range-of-motion and other approved functional testing Accurately collect and document testing data for provider review Fit patients for prescribed Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Educate patients on the proper use, application, and care of DME Assist with braces, supports, and other prescribed medical equipment Maintain accurate DME documentation and patient records Ensure required forms, acknowledgments, and documentation are completed Maintain and organize DME inventory Assist chiropractors and other providers with patient flow and clinical procedures Prepare patients and treatment areas for care Perform duties within the permitted scope of a Chiropractic Assistant Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients Work closely with providers and the administrative team to ensure an efficient patient experience Qualifications Licensed/registered Chiropractic Assistant preferred Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who enjoys having a specialized clinical role and becoming the go-to person for DME and functional testing within the practice.
