Job Description

Overview:
Busy Chiropractic office seeking responsible, social, empathetic individual to join our team as a registered chiropractic assistant.. We will train the right person. Previous experience is a plus, but not required. A Chiropractic Assistant's job is to work under the supervision of a licensed Chiropractor assisting in patient management and treatment for chiropractic needs across all clinical areas. Works as a collaborative member of the clinical team to ensure quality clinical service and patient care operations. Initiates communication resulting in efficient delivery of patient care. Provides at the direction of supervising chiropractor direct and indirect patient care to patients based on their treatment plan and needs, optimizing patient safety and outcomes. Works proactively and in collaboration with other members.
Essential Functions:
Provide assistance to the chiropractor with therapies, procedures and patient handling. Provide basic and simple physical therapy modalities, rehabilitative activities and healing techniques on patients under the supervision of the Chiropractor. Maintain all equipment in or pertaining to the clinical areas for daily use, safekeeping, and functionality. Be functional, trainable, courteous, and have a professional demeanor with patients.
Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent. We will provide training and certification to the right person.
Level of Supervision Required :
Medium, Work is reviewed regularly.
Physical Demands:
Light to Medium - Exerts up to 30 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 15 lbs. of force frequently to move objects. Physical demands are in excess of those of sedentary work. Light work will usually require walking or standing while demonstrating exercises.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
