Job Description

This position is for a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant in a busy outpatient rehab clinic. Our approach is patient-oriented treatment plans, with strong focus on outcomes and results.
Duties include:
Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, execute patient treatment plans in an outpatient private-practice setting, with a broad range of orthopedic exposure. Treatment plans are constructed to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function, incorporating exercises, activities, and modalities to aid in recovery. Thorough and timely documentation of daily treatments and delivery of care. Communicate and Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Desired Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree program. Valid and active State of Maine license as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Recent physical therapist assistant graduates pursuing licensing also welcome to apply. Strong patient care approach, with a focus on functional outcomes. Ability to work and multi-task in a cooperative, team environment. Clinical experience in an outpatient, physical therapy practice preferred. This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, and a friendly and flexible work environment.
Pay:
$27.00 - $33.00 per hour
