Overview Physical Therapy Assistant LTAC opening in Falmouth, Maine. This travel assignment begins on 11/09/2026 and runs for 13 contract weeks. Long-term care nursing home Responsibilities Provide skilled PTA services under the supervision of a licensed PT, focusing on functional mobility and activities of daily living. Implement and progress prescribed treatment plans, including therapeutic exercise, gait training, balance work, and ROM activities. Monitor patient responses, document progress, and communicate changes to the supervising PT and care team. Assist with patient education, safety, and discharge planning; support correct use of transfers and assistive devices. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold infection control and safety standards in a long-term care setting. Requirements Active Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility for licensure in Maine (state-specific requirements apply). Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program. Prior LTAC or skilled nursing experience preferred; ability to work effectively within a rehab team. Basic documentation skills and strong communication with patients, families, and team members. Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and adapt to a dynamic care environment.
