Job Description

Orono Chiropractic is looking for a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Clinical Chiropractic Assistant to join our healthcare team! The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, comfortable working in a busy environment, and passionate about helping patients feel welcome and cared for. In this role, you will work closely with our chiropractors and team to support patient care, maintain accurate records, and help keep the clinic running smoothly. Previous medical-office experience is preferred but not required—we are happy to train the right person! Responsibilities Welcome patients and assist with the intake process. Collect medical histories and accurately document patient symptoms. Measure vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature. Prepare examination and treatment rooms for patient visits. Clean and sanitize chiropractic equipment. Guide patients through therapies and treatment procedures. Provide clear instructions and education before and after treatment. Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records. Assist our chiropractors with daily clinical responsibilities. Perform medical scribing and other basic clinical support tasks. Help create a positive, comfortable, and supportive experience for every patient. Qualifications Excellent communication and patient-service skills. A friendly, compassionate, and professional attitude. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical environment. Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, or pharmacology is helpful. Experience with electronic health records or medical-office software is preferred but not required. Experience measuring vital signs and assisting with clinical procedures is a plus. Basic Life Support certification is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to a positive team environment. Previous medical office experience is a plus, but it's not required—we're happy to train the right person! Pay:
From $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
